Au cours de ses sejours a Erevan, elle a sans cesse beneficie du soutien et des conseils des bibliothecaires. Je les remercie d?avoir rendu possible l?elaboration de cet instrument de travail. La presente publication permet de faire connaitre aux chercheurs du monde entier des documents precieux, mais insuffisamment pris en compte par les hellenistes et les armenisants. En particulier, il reste beaucoup a faire dans le domaine des traductions des textes litteraires grecs en armenien. Le Catalogue de R. Varteni Chetanian, qui a par ailleurs publie une remarquable etude sur la traduction armenienne des Homelies sur les Actes des apotres de Jean Chrysostome, donne un moyen nouveau de progresser dans ce champ de recherche. C?est dire que le present Catalogue ne doit pas etre envisage comme une fin ou une cloture. Il doit au contraire etre a l?origine d?autres travaux : travaux d?edition des plus importants textes grecs exhumes par R. Varteni Chetanian ; travaux de numerisation des fragments et des manuscrits, afin de rendre possible leur consultation a distance. Jalon pour l?avenir de la recherche historique et philologique, voila comment doit etre envisage ce Catalogue. ‎Summary The formal study of the collection of Jewish and Christian texts transmitted under the name of Sibylline Oracles highlights the continuity of the model of biblical prophecy while underlining the heritage of Greek didactic poetry. The interest of this approach is to situate the Sibylline Oracles as a literary work in the context of contemporary Greek versified literary production, which implies, on the part of their successive editors, a familiarity with Greek poetic forms related to a common scholar background. The study of the retelling of biblical episodes aims at identifying the passages where the fictitious Sibyl claims to announce the events of the biblical past and confronting these narrative sequences with contemporary rhetorical theories of paraphrase in order to highlight the formal technique that runs through them and the interpretation of the biblical hypotext that it presumes. Most of the rewritings preserved in the corpus are compatible with the prevailing doctrine of the third century CE. L'étude formelle de la collection de textes juifs et chrétiens transmis sous le nom d'Oracles sibyllins met en évidence la continuité du modèle de la prophétie biblique tout en soulignant l'héritage de la poésie didactique grecque. L'intérêt de cette approche est de situer les Oracles sibyllins comme un objet littéraire dans le contexte de la production littéraire versifiée grecque contemporaine, ce qui implique, de la part de leurs rédacteurs successifs, une familiarité avec les formes poétiques grecques liée à une formation scolaire commune. L'étude des réécritures d'épisodes bibliques vise à identifier les passages où la Sibylle fictive prétend annoncer les événements du passé biblique et à confronter ces séquences narratives aux théories rhétoriques contemporaines de la paraphrase pour mettre en valeur la technique formelle qui les traverse et l'interprétation de l'hypotexte biblique qu'elle présume. ‎Summary The rich literary production of Gaza in the fifth and sixth centuries AD has received quite some attention in recent scholarship. Yet, the figure and work of Procopius the Sophist, as author of catenae, compiler, and epitomist of patristic exegesis, have remained relatively unknown and under-explored. This collection of essays delves deeply into Procopius' exegetical work. At the outset, a strong case is made that one should distinguish between the famous orator of Gaza and "the Christian sophist" Procopius. A first large section of the book deals with the Genesis Epitome that is studied from three different angles: the limited and as a rule critical use of Origen and his tradition; the importance given to Theodore of Mopsuestia's exegesis of Gen 1-3; and the relations between Procopius' Epitome and John Philoponus' De opificio mundi. The section on the Exodus Epitome studies the specificity of Procopius' work in comparison to the Catena on Exodus, the way the material is organised, and the literary genre of the work. The volume further contains contributions on the connections between the Scholia on Kings attributed to Procopius, the type B catena, and the so-called "Catena Lipsiensis"; the relations between Procopius' Catena on Proverbs and other catenae on this book; the sources of the Isaiah Epitome that show a diligent and able compiler at work; and the comparison between the characteristic features of Procopius' Epitomes and those of the Catena III on Obadiah. As a whole, it offers a wide perspective and significantly advances research on, and our knowledge of, Procopius the Christian sophist, a still somewhat mysterious early Byzantine author and scholar. ‎Summary Through the word corpus, the metaphor of the body is applied to a collection of works by the same author that are transmitted together. These works not only share the same skin, the manuscript, but also function organically thanks to a complex system of paracontents. It is possible to see this system at work in the case of only a very few medieval authors throughout history, cultures and languages; the Corpus Nazianzenum and the Corpus Dionysiacum are such instances. ‎Summary Le lexique géographique du grammairien byzantin Stéphane de Byzance, les Ethniques, est une oeuvre à l'origine monumentale. Ce lexique contenait de nombreuses mentions d'auteurs disparus, se rapportant à des toponymes du monde antique connu des Grecs et des Romains. À l'intérieur de ce lexique, nous avons choisi d'étudier plus spécialement ceux situés en Europe occidentale (péninsule ibérique, Gaule, Germanie et Bretagne antiques), en lien avec les sites archéologiques connus s'y rapportant. L'ouvrage ayant été abrégé à plusieurs reprises au cours du Moyen Âge, la confrontation de l'ensemble des notices a permis de proposer de nouvelles attributions d'auteurs antiques, leur nom et leur citation ayant très souvent disparu des manuscrits conservés. Par ailleurs l'analyse précise de la transmission de l'oeuvre apporte un éclairage nouveau sur les moments où ce grammairien a été lu et utilisé, du VIe s. jusqu'à sa redécouverte à la fin du XVe s. La structure même du lexique permet de revenir sur la lexicographie antique et médiévale, et d'envisager les apports à la fois des grammairiens et des auteurs antiques (pour la plupart géographes et historiens) qui étaient cités. Enfin, le cadre géographique choisi permet d'explorer les autres textes antiques ainsi que les données archéologiques depuis l'époque grecque archaïque jusqu'à la fin de l'Empire romain. Nous avons inclus dans ce travail une analyse et une traduction de l'Ora maritima d'Aviénus, afin de compléter l'étude de la péninsule ibérique et du Midi de la Gaule. ‎Summary In spite of its importance, Theodore Anagnostes' Church History has attracted only little scholarly attention so far. To a large extent, we still rely on the assertions of philologists and historians from around the turn of the 19th to the 20th centuries, and the authoritative edition of the text is still the one published by C. ‎Summary Isaac Argyros was a leading astronomer and theologian of the late 14th century, who spent most of his life at the Chora monastery in Constantinople. Besides several works on astronomy, he wrote a number of treatises against the Palamites in the tradition of his teacher and mentor Nicephorus Gregoras: (1.) De quattuor modis participationis Dei; (2.) De lumine Transfigurationis ad Gedeonem Zographum; and (3.) Solutio quaestionis cuiusdam Palamiticae. Former emperor John Cantacuzenus composed a lenghty treatise against Argyrus (Contra Argyrum), in which he attacks the fact that Argyros and his followers deny three things: that the seven spirits referred to by Isaiah are uncreated; that the grace of God is uncreated; and that men receive gifts of God in an immediate manner. Together, the four texts in this edition shed light on an interesting chapter in the palamite controversy.‎
