Katharine McDowell Rice 1859-1945 was an author of children's books and many humorous plays. She studied dramatic literature and theater at Radcliffe College as a special student graduating in 1912. During the First World War she helped to found the Boston branch of the Women's Peace Party. On Oct. 4 1918 she was one of 5 signers of a short piece supporting the formation of the League of Nations published in The Journal of Education 88:20. Scarce.
