100:65 mm. Ganzfigürliche Darstellung des Schauspielers im Sitzen aus dem Atelier des Photographen Emil Rabending, Wien. Mit Unterschrift und Widmung auf der Verso-Seite: "Seiner Collegin Frl. Herzog zur Erinnerung […]". - Der aus Bielefeld stammende Schauspieler genoss nach Erfolgen auf Laienbühnen und Wanderjahren an zahlreichen kleineren und größeren Bühnen Deutschlands, Österreichs und der Schweiz seit 1877 den Ruf als vorzüglichster Interpret von Stücken Fritz Reuters, der "Bräsig" aus Reuters Erfolgsroman "Ut mine Stromtid" etwa wurde über zweitausend Mal gegeben. Als ihm ein angestrebter Vertrag auf Lebenszeit in Stuttgart wiederholt verweigert wurde, löste Junkermann seinen Vertrag und begab sich, zeitweilig mit eigenem Ensemble, auf Gastspielreisen, die ihn durch halb Europa sowie wiederholt auch in die Vereinigten Staaten führten.
