Mathey studied architecture at the Technical University of Budapest later painting book and graphic design at the Staatliche Kunstgewerbeschule in Berlin where he became a masterclass of the well-known book and writing artist ER Weiss. From 1916 to 1919 he was a teacher at the institute at the instigation of the architect Bruno Paul . In 1920 he was called by Walter Tiemann to head the workshops for book and drama at the Staatliche Akademie f�r Graphische K�nste und Buchgewerbe in Leipzig where he worked until 1928. As early as 1919 he designed the first stamps of the German Reichspost in 1951 he was responsible for the design of the legendary posthorn set. In 1928 the porcelain manufacturer Rosenthal published Math�ys Kaffeesalon 760 with directionally simple shapes and decor. And in 1936 Math�y designed four large paintings for an exhibition of the Pergamon Museum on the occasion of the Olympic Games in Berlin. Rare. Gyldendal Hardcover

Charlotte Greenwood an American actress and dancer from Philadelphia. Standing around six feet tall she was best known for her long legs and high kicks.
