Préface de Paul Lacroix (1806-1884, Conservateur de la Bibliothèque de l'Arsenal, bibliographe). In fine table et variantes de la première édition de La Fleur des Antiquités de Paris (Paris, Denis Janot, 1532, in-16). Ouvrage de Gilles Corrozet (1510-1568, historien et poète), paru pour la première fois en 1532, et réimprimée plus de huit fois entre 1532 et 1555. Objet de curiosité bibliographique, La Fleur des Antiquités est le premier ouvrage écrit sur les annales de Paris et des Parisiens. Il s'avère particulièrement pertinent sur la topographie des rues de Paris à l'époque. Est reproduite ici, la seconde édition de 1532. La Croix du Maine (in la Bibliothèque francoise) évoque la curiosité pour l'apprentissage des langues de Gilles Corrozet, La Fleur des Antiquités étant sans doute un guide à destination des étrangers. Lui-même libraire, Gilles Corrozet était secrètement attaché aux idées de la Réforme calviniste. Ouvrage en très bon état.‎
