With a contemporary sheet folded to 4pp containing a manuscript list in a very neat scholarly hand of 69 'ancient camps or hill fortresses in the County of Devon' and enclosing a separate manuscript plan of Milber Down Camp near Newton Abbot. With the author's memorial bookplate, and trade ticket of Exeter Rare Books, on front paste-down.
