The book's dust jacket has lightly worn areas along its top and bottom edges has inside stains along with some light staining on its exterior bottom spine edge and in varying places on the the front scover and lastly on the front side a crease and a very slight line cut. The interior book is in Near Fine to Fine condition with the only detriment being a small spot on the exterior book's front cover probably made by a dirty fingerprint. The Vietnamese text is printed on 164 pp. of now browned wartime paper and remains readable but the illustrations are very clearly reproduced on high grade art matte paper and come through with excellent clarity. Line drawings of iconographic details with their inherent high contrasts make these details much more readily viewed and studied than if one were to examine photographs or the drums themselves. Text pages browned soft wrappers are sound but chipped and bearing red seal and remains of two labels. Condition typical or better than most publications from Vietnam dating to this period.
