Darü'l-Elhan Külliyati No.3 [The House of Melodies Collected Works No. 3]. [With original stamp of Samli Iskender -Kudmanizâde-]. Darülelhan (The House of Melodies) is not a real publishinghouse but a music school established at 10 January 1917, in Istanbul. The principle aim in the establishment of this school was to follow a scientific way in the education and teaching of musical arts, and introduce the old pieces by printing them. Some courses on Turkish and Western music should be given in a course of four years. This school closed in the days of Independence War and reopened by the attempts of Haydar Beg the mayor of Istanbul in 1923. On this publications, it's written usually "Our establishment started to publish the beautiful pieces inhereted from the most famous Turkish composers in order to conserve them. These publications are checked by a scientifically responsible council and found ass quite correct. Up to now, the pieces contining Setarabân, Mâye, Evç-ârâ, Acem Asirân, Müste'ar, Nevâ, Gulizâr, Beyâti, Mâhur, Ferâhfezâ, Ferâhnâk, Nev-eser, Nühüft and Arazbâr Buselik tones, havng the number 72 have already been put on sale for 5 Kurus at the magazine of Samli Iskender in Bayezid Square". He was an early classical Turkish composers. Ahmed Hamdi Tanpinar's devoted his book 'Mahur Beste' to Eyyûbî Efendi and inspired by him. ‎EYÜBZÂDE LÂMI' ÖMER, (Turkish young from Trabzon gentry and ayans -Eyubzâde family-), (19th century).‎

‎[TRAVEL FROM TREBIZOND TO ANTWERP] Autograph letter signed 'Eyübzâde'.‎

‎Very Good Turkish, Ottoman (1500-1928) Original autograph letter signed (ALS) 'Eyubzâde Lâmi' Ömer' addressed to his aunt. 26,5x20 cm. In Ottoman script. 1 p. Full. Folded. It starts with 'My dear aunt'. He describes his travel during sixteen days from Trebizond to Anvers, Belgium by a ship and his memoirs in the capital of Antwerp province in the Flemish Region of Belgium. 'Eyubzade'family of Trebizond, especially settled in Maçka region, is a well-established and very important family that raised prominent individuals in the 18th and 19th centuries and played important roles in the social and economic life of the Ottoman Empire and the Republic of Turkey. The family served in 'Maçka voivodalik' from 1764 to 1837. In the period after the declaration of the Tanzimat, the role of family members who held administrative positions in the Trabzon bureaucracy is very important as well in regard to the central administration-local bureaucracy-gentry triangle. Eyübzade Mehmed Hamdi Efendi was the writer of 'Safahat-i Hayatim' book who was also the grandfather of Bedri Rahmi Eyuboglu, (1911-1975), who was a famous Turkish poet and painter.‎

‎Riding the storm: The dynamics of Anglo-Turkish relations from 1918 to 1923.‎

‎New English Paperback Demy 8vo. (21 x 14 cm). In English. 94 p. During the 19th century, British diplomacy towards the Ottoman Empire was based on rejuvenating and revitalising the administration system with a series of social and political reforms. Although British attitudes began to transform during the Near Eastern Crisis of 1876-8 and the Anglo-Ottoman alliance was interrupted, the policy changed dramatically on the eve of the First World War. Nonetheless, major events such as the Chanak Crisis in the British Cabinet, the occupation of Constantinople and Smyrna and finally the Turkish Nationalist Movementunder the leadership of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk effected the dynamics of Anglo-Ottoman relations. This book examines the ground of these policies and analyses how thisstorm was over in British foreign policies towards Turkey between 1918 and 1923.‎
