‎Rara veduta panoramica della città edita dagli eredi di Jeremias Wollf ad Augsburg. La stampa, corredata da una legenda di 17 voci, mostra numerosi personaggi e animali sul primo piano. Il Tevere segue l'errato corso tipico di tutte le vedute della città di produzione nordica, tuttavia in questa incisione gli edifici sono disegnati in maniera molto più realistica e corrispondente al vero. Il prototipo iniziale per questa tipologia di panorami è identificabile nella veduta generale incisa da Israel SIlvestre nel 1642.Incisione in rame, coloritura coeva, in ottime condizioni. Rare panorama of the city edited by the heirs of Jeremias Wollf in Augsburg.  The print, accompanied by a 17-item key-legend, shows numerous characters and animals in the foreground.  The Tiber follows the wrong course typical of all city views of Nordic production, but in this engraving the buildings are drawn in a much more realistic way and correspond to reality. The initial prototype for this type of panorama can be identified in the general view engraved by Israel SIlvestre in 1642. Copper engraving, contemporary coloring, in very good condition. C. ‎Très grand et beau plan de la commune de Levallois-Perret en 1900, issu de l'Atlas du département de la Seine, dressé par le Service des Ponts et Chaussées du département entre 1895 et 1900. Il a été lithographié en couleurs par Louis Wuhrer. En 1900, la commune de Levallois-Perret, créée en 1867 et aujourd'hui dans les Hauts-de-Seine, faisait partie du canton du même nom, ancienne division administrative créée en 1893, au sein de l'arrondissement de Saint-Denis et du département de la Seine. Le département de la Seine, nommé département de Paris à sa création en 1790, comprenait trois districts ou arrondissements, et seize cantons. Il fut dissous en 1968, pour former les départements de Paris, des Hauts-de-Seine, de la Seine-Saint-Denis et du Val-de-Marne. Ce très grand plan figure Levallois-Perret, et les communes limitrophes de Bécon-les-Bruyères, Clichy et Neuilly, officiellement nommée Neuilly-sur-Seine en 1897. Il montre également une partie du 17ème arrondissement de Paris. Les limites de la capitale sont marquées par les bastions de l'enceinte de Thiers. Construite entre 1841 et 1844, à la demande du roi Louis-Philippe, qui souhaitait faire construire autour de la capitale une enceinte bastionnée qui rendrait la ville imprenable, l'enceinte de Thiers, du nom de l'homme politique qui conçut le projet, était constituée de 94 bastions, et englobait non seulement Paris, mais aussi les communes environnantes annexées à Paris en 1859, telles Montmartre, La Villette, Belleville, Charonne, Bercy, Auteuil, ou encore Passy. Dans Levallois-Perret, on peut voir l'ancien Champ de courses de Neuilly-Levallois, inauguré en 1889 et supprimé en 1901, et le Vélodrome de la Seine. Ce dernier, inauguré en 1893, sera fermé au bout de quelques années puis démoli pour permettre la construction d’usines. Le plan de la ville montre également la gare portant la mention Compagnie des Chemins de Fer de l'Ouest Ateliers et Remises de Levallois. Dans la commune de Bécon-les-Bruyères, on peut voir la gare, le parc et le château. Le parc est toujours là aujourd'hui, mais le château a été rasé après avoir été gravement endommagé par les bombardements en 1870, puis lors de Seconde Guerre mondiale. Dans la ville de Clichy, on peut voir le Garage, l'Usine à gaz, l'Usine de Refoulement des Eaux d'Égouts de la Ville de Paris, et la Société philanthropique pour laquelle est mentionné le nom de son fondateur Jules Gouin. Sur la Seine figure l'Île de la Grande Jatte. Dans le coin supérieur gauche figure une carte du département de la Seine. Plan intéressant pour l'histoire de la commune de Levallois-Perret, montrant des lieux ou des bâtiments qui n'existent plus aujourd'hui, comme le Champ de courses de Neuilly-Levallois et le Vélodrome de la Seine, ainsi que des rues qui ont disparu ou qui ont été renommées, comme la rue de Courcelles devenue la rue du Président Wilson, la rue des frères Hébert renommée rue Édouard Vaillant, la rue du Bois devenue la rue Jean Jaurès, la rue Chevallier devenue la rue Louis Rouquier, ou la rue Gide renommée rue Paul Vaillant-Couturier. All printed in German sometimes with foreign translations.<br/><br/>Includes arial bombing maps of Chesterfield Tube Works Great Britain Dec. 1942 showing a geographical arial photograph of the factory area and an overlay of roads bridges and potential targets. The German forces tried to bomb Chesterfield and the railway tracks nearby where the Tube Works produced important cylinders and compressors for the war effort. Instead their bomb fell on a golf course 4 miles away doing no harm. Bears the warning: "Nur fur den Diensfgebrauch" or "For Internal Use Only." 12"x12.5" 2 pg<br/><br/>Also includes a "Map of the Former Czechoslovakia" In German: "Karte der ehemaligen Tschechoslowakei". The German occupation of Czechoslovakia lasted from1938 to 1945 beginning with the Nazi annexation of the northern and western border regions known collectively as the Sudetenland under terms outlined by the Munich Agreement. Hitler's pretext for this effort was the alleged privations suffered by the ethnic German population living in those regions. Czechoslovakia was finally liberated with the Allied Victory in 1945. Map in black and white with red elevations. Bears the large tage at the top: "Sondersausgabe!" or "Special Edition!" Also includes a map of a Czech city which played an important part in World War II History. Situated at the very end of the Sudentenland the borders of the Third Reich were literally on Plzen's outer limits. Occupied by Nazi forces starting in 1939 and divided by the loyalties of its half-German population Plzen was finally liberated with the rest of Czechoslovakia in 1945. The map is written in German with Czech translation of each heading. ‎Rare carte monumentale de l'Europe, illustrant les nouvelles frontières établies après le Traité de Paris, signé le 20 novembre 1815. Après la défaite de Napoléon à Waterloo, le Traité de Paris mit fin au Premier Empire. La France fut ramenée à ses frontières de 1790, et dut renoncer à des territoires de langue française comme la Savoie et la Belgique, et de langue italienne comme le comté de Nice annexé par la France avant les guerres napoléoniennes. En Italie, la Lombardie et la Vénétie sont données à l'empire d'Autriche qui instaure le Royaume de Lombardie-Vénétie sous domination autrichienne. La maison de Savoie récupère le Piémont, Nice et la Savoie, et entre en possession de Gênes. Le pape retrouve les États pontificaux mais ne peut récupérer ni le Comtat Venaissin, ni Avignon. La nouvelle dynastie suédoise reçoit la Norvège. La Finlande est annexée à la Russie. La Pologne est partagée une quatrième fois. La Russie en est la principale bénéficiaire. Cette carte est dans sa seconde édition, publiée par James Wyld à Londres le 1er janvier 1829. James Wyld était le successeur de William Faden. La première édition fut publiée par Faden le 1er janvier 1816. Bel exemplaire aquarellé à l'époque. Petits défauts aux plats extérieurs de la carte et à l'étui.‎
