Il tratto medio, da Longarone a Vas, è descritto nel precedente libro edito nel 2017 sempre per ViviDolomiti Edizioni. Il filo conduttore è il fiume con i suoi affluenti: l'Ansiei, il Boite e il Maè, dalle cui valli si ergono le Dolomiti di Auronzo, Cortina e Zoldo, patrimonio dell'UNESCO. Si potrà intendere queste proposte come percorsi singoli, da scegliere per una giornata di MTB o E-MTB, oppure in concatenamento realizzando una lunga avventurosa "Altaciclovia del Piave". Seguendo poi il primo volume, si può continuare fino a Vas per tornare indietro lambendo il Grappa, i laghi di Arsiè e Senaiga, le Vette Feltrine e il parco delle Dolomiti Bellunesi in un lungo emozionante viaggio tra borghi abbandonati, vie regie, sentieri di antichi cacciatori e rifugi famosi, fra luoghi di pellegrinaggio e panorami mozzafiato.
