Some foxing to the end pastedowns and page edges. New label on the spine. Bumping to the corners. Some rubbing to the edges. Some browning to the spine. Small scratches to the spine beneath the label. Originally published in 1923 'Antic Hay' is one of his sharpest early comic novels. Around him moves a cast of cynical artists intellectuals and socialites each reflecting the uncertainty and moral drift of the 1920s. A collection of short stories by Aldous Huxley first published in 1924. The title story reflects Huxley's sharp interest in character class culture and emotional restraint combining social observation with irony and psychological insight. It is less famous than Brave New World but important for understanding Huxley's development as a stylist and satirist. Chatto and Windus unknown
