réf. 53734London: George G. Harrap N.d. 4to. 128 pp. Publisher's pebbled brown morocco gilt lettered to the spine and with blindstamped decoration to the upper board top edge gilt others untrimmed later gift inscription to the half title. 24 colour plates colour decorations in and around the text throughout. Covers lightly worn very good overall. These Harrap editions of Pogany's illustrated Rubaiyat were issued from 1909 onwards through to the 1930s and occasionally beyond though the imprints are mostly undated. Evidence would suggest that those copies with 24 plates as here were first or early printings. The general patina of this particular copy would suggest that this is the case. London: George G.
