Written by Willy Brandt a German politician and statesman who served as chancellor for West Germany and was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts to unite Europe. 'North-South' contains Brandt's report of the Independent Commission on International Development Issues known as "The Brandt Report" written when he was chairman.In this important work Brandt suggests that there is a great chasm in standards of living along the North-South divide stipulating that there should be a transfer of resources and wealth to developing countries to rectify this imbalance. Bound in full morocco with the original paperback wraps bound in. Externally excellent with minor shelf wear only. Internally firmly bound. Ink inscription to front blank.
