Acquaforte, stampata su carta vergata coeva, buone condizioni. Soria e molti altri. Rara. Chiesa del Gesù. Above the inscription in Latin: "Facies Externa cum Prospectu Interiors Temples ab Alexandro Cardinali Farnesio Soc. Iesu Aedifici". Etching, printed on contemporary laid paper, good condition. This work by Regnard was published in Rome by Francois Collignon in 1650, without a title, but in a set known as Praecipua urbis templa. The plates show elevations, sections and plans of 16th- and 17th-century Roman churches, with captions identifying them and their architects (with occasional misattributions).
