2006248 pages. Index. Bibliography. "A study of the founders and supporters of oppressive political regimes. Lobaczewski's approach analyzes the common factors that lead to the propagation of man's inhumanity to man... The original manuscript of this book went into the furnace minutes before a secret police raid in Communist Poland. The second copy was sent via courier to the Vatican. Its receipt was never acknowledged - the manuscript and all valuable data lost. In 1984, the third and final copy was written from memory by the last survivor of the original researchers. Zbigniew Brzezinski blocked its publication. After half a century of suppression, this book is finally available." - from back cover. Book

2002lxxiv, 421 pages. Bibliography, index and endnotes. "The Culture of Critique (CofC) was originally published in 1998. It described how Jewish intellectuals initiated and advanced a number of important intellectual and political movements during the 20th century. I argue that these movements are attempts to alter Western societies in a manner that would neutralize or end anti-Semitism and enhance the prospects for Jewish group community either in an overt or in a semi-cryptic manner." - Preface. "This first paperback edition attampts to answer some criticisms leveled against CofC. I also discuss issues including Jewish involvement in Communism, the emergence of the Holocaust as a central cultural icon in Western societies, Jewish invovlement in the U.S. media, and the role of Jewish organizations in censoring the Internet." - back cover. This is the story of how they lived and how they grew in the shadow of the Rockefeller inheritance... Based on rare in-depth interviews with the five brothers themselves, and with their friends and business associates. The author had unprecedented access to the Rockefeller family archives - and he spent eight years preparing and researching this book. The result is a definitive, close-up view of the Rockefeller dynasty - an unauthorized, unrestricted and totally honest look at the public and private lives of the men and women who control the Rockefeller inheritance." - from dust jacket. 17588vo. pp. (18), 234, (99). Title page printed in red & black, but age soiled. Disbound. Sallust was a famed Roman historian and politician. He was tribune of the people (52 B.C.) and praetor (46). He was ejected (50) from the senate ostensibly for adultery, but more probably because of his partisanship for Caesar. He served with Caesar after his praetorship and was his governor in Numidia; he was s ubsequently accused of misusing his governorship for personal gain. His principal works are the Bellum Catilinae, on the conspiracy of Catiline and his account of the Jugurthine War, Bellum Jugurthinu m. His history of Rome is extant only in fragments; it probably covered the period 78 B.C. to 67 B.C. As a historian Sallust was important as one of the first to write historical monographs dealing wi th sharply limited events and periods. Although his style is consciously archaic, it is distinguished by its terseness and directness. His character sketches are particularly impressive and vivid, and his work has found as many imitators as critics - Columbia Encyclopedia. . **PRICE JUST REDUCED! W121 Rear L
