The conference sessions were divided into various committees dealing with international aviation issues of coordination and initiatives; legislation; meteorological protection; a committee on radio communications and a committee on aviation touring and aero-clubs. The deliberations resulted in various votes recommendations and resolutions regarding these topics; these included creation of an American Aeronautical commission; establishment of courses on air law in national universities; encouragement and facilitation of international air commerce; fuel duty exemption recommendations; establishment of international airports and other topics including standardization of radio traffic and meteorological data for flights. The development of air travel on an international scale was in earnest at this point and yet there was still a largely unregulated unsophisticated and disorganized international approach to commercial aviation lacking standardized safety procedures and protocols especially in Central & South America. At the end of the conference several people and events central to the development of aviation and its Western hemisphere pioneers were memorialized. Approx. 8" x 12 1/2" paper size; stapled paper binding; top sheet detached edge-frayed & dusty; contents in good condition. Conference Report. Soft Cover. Good.
