An attractive map of the great state of Texas created by the Missouri Kansas and Texas Railway to promote their regional lines and encourage immigration. The map includes the company's railway lines coming down from Oklahoma and snaking through the central-eastern portion of the state down to the Gulf Coast. Steamship lines are indicated to various locations from Galveston. Within the area of the state locations are shown for areas adapted to certain crops and general regional elevation and rainfall figures are also printed sporadically across the state.
