HB, 305 x 250 mm, 400 pages, 2000 illustrations, Texte en Francais. ISBN 9782376660361.

Hardback, 280x240mm, 672p, 920 colour illustrations, English/ IT edition . ISBN 9788836635481. This enormous volume provides the first exhaustive catalog of the furniture and interior accessories of Domenico Ico Parisi (1916-86). A key protagonist of postwar Italian design alongside his friend Gio Ponti, Parisi defined himself as a renaissance artist interested in all forms of expression, and traversed the realms of architecture, industrial design, painting and photography. Parisi's furniture (realized primarily in wood and metal) and his interior designs are surveyed in their entirety, from his early collaborations with Cantu artisans in the 1940s through to his industrial production in the 1960s. Images of each item--often both archival and contemporary photographs--are accompanied by a short text explicating its history and production run. Also included is an extensive illustrated chronology of Parisi's career.

Hardcover , 175 pages with illustrations b/n, 22x29 cm. . ISBN 9789529437627. Chasing Light: The Archival Photographs and Drawings of Paavo Tynell is the first-ever book published in English about the prolific Finnish lighting designer Paavo Tynell. Focusing on the period 1946?1957, the book is based on previously unpublished photographs and work drawings that have been collected from archives. Over 100 archive photos and original drawings also present more unusual and rare variations of Tynell?s lighting design, as well as an in-depth look at the stunning Snowflake chandelier. Tynell?s light fixtures were manufactured by a group of highly-trained metalwork professionals, whose artistry is practically impossible to replicate. The key goal of the book is to feature photographs and drawings that are rich in content for the reader to get an idea of the high level of craftsmanship involved in making these lamps. The book has been written by Finnish antique dealer Ville Linna, and it has been printed in Finland.?
