1927Best.-Nr. 34441Buffalo NY: February 15 1927. 1927. Good. - Signed "Prince William of Sweden" on a slip of paper which has been mounted on a gray autograph album page 5-3/4 inches high by 4-1/4 inches wide together with a portrait clipped from a newspaper. A cut-out coat of arms has been mounted to the right of the photo with a note by the previous owner penned below it. There is some light staining to the portrait and the cut signature probably from the glue used in the mounting. Good. Prince William of Sweden was an internationally known big game hunter a writer of books on travel and exploration novels and plays a poet and a contributor to American magazines. In 1927 he toured America lecturing about his African adventures. His autograph was evidently obtained on this tour as indicated by the note penned on the album page: "Feb. 151927 at Buffalo Consistory. "Hunting big game in Pygmy Land." Buffalo, NY: February 15, 1927. unknown
