Miller 1894-1985 was a prominent movie scenarist during the 1920s with a few more scattered credits in the early talkie years; Ryerson 1892-1965 was more prolific who had dozens of screenwriting credits from the mid-1920s to the mid-1940s including a shared credit on THE WIZARD OF OZ and often wrote in collaboration with Clements her second husband. Their joint output included not only screenplays but also mystery novels and stage plays. Beyond documenting a simple friendship though the two women collaborated on at least one stage play a 1950 comedy called "Little Scandal" a copy of which can also be procured from ReadInk if you are interested and so inclined. It might also be noted that Mr. Clements having died of a heart attack in January 1948 never got to enjoy the Broadway success of this play. Signed by One Author . Samuel French, Inc. hardcover
