Creased a few small holes mostly at folds very slight effect on one word some edgewear a little browning and soiling; otherwise very good. This document appears to be a rental agreement for some land in Plattsburgh between Charles Platt and Thomas McCurdy. While the document is mostly printed there are six lines of hand written text describing the location of land involved with this transaction.

1996ref. 028790Gotham Book Mart & Gallery New York 1996. Book. Very Good. No Binding. Single 11 x 17 inch sheet folded twice. Discoloring along the folds with some light tan spotting overall and wear to the edges. Still a helpful compendium of dozens of titles by or illustrated by Gorey listed for sale by the New York bookstore that championed his work and who became almost synonymous with his career. The list itself although not signed by Gorey is almost as enchanting to read as one of his fine books. . Gotham Book Mart & Gallery, New York unknown
