1913réf. 550Buffalo: Matthews-Northrup Works 1913. 15 1/2 x 11 inches. Poor condition with trimmed right margin and multiple missing areas for binding with paste. This map is highly informative and shows a four corner approach to a railway for the middle-west. The principal hub appears to be Cincinnati. The railroad operated primarily on Trackage rights of system lines. The legend has very few operations under owned lines. They probably existed in the urban centers of the system. Overall this is a nice map of a railroad without owning tracks. The local depots most likely provided freight gathering. Overall this map illustrates the power of the lease. Matthews-Northrup Works unknown
