2019br. Artista complesso, geniale ma insieme contraddittorio, che ha sempre evitato il troppo de-finito e che ha lasciato incompiuto quasi tutto. Scienziato, artista, filosofo, Leonardo è stato anche ingegnere, inventore e uomo di lettere. Personalità enigmatica, che continua a intrigare una schiera sempre più folta di ammiratori. Non moltissimi sono i suoi capolavori pittorici, ma tutti unici e intrisi di mistero. Più di tutti, forse, la prima versione della "Vergine delle rocce", l'opera che qui ci si propone di indagare e far parlare, ben al di là di quanto la sua determinatezza oggettuale sembrerebbe autorizzarci a fare. Insomma, una riflessione a tutto tondo su un'opera apparentemente inspiegabile, fatta di volti, posture e colori assolutamente enigmatici. Che queste pagine, però, si propongono di restituire alla sua reale e intrinseca potenza simbolica, mostrandoci che, a essere chiamato in causa nel paesaggio da essa rappresentato, altro non è che un vero e proprio "miracolo naturale".
