Freddy Bannister was a concert promoter in the 60s and 70s and he was the founder of the Bath Festival of Progressive Music. Despite trying to attract the best music artists to his festivals his philosophy of always giving the best value for money remained. Cocky was recorded in 1999-2001 and released on November 20 2001. Entertainment Weekly writer Rob Brunner described Cocky as a concept album stating “Boastful and defensive confrontational and thin-skinned loud rude and proud of it Kid Rock is a composite of blatantly unpleasant stereotypes sure to scare the neighbors: strutting ghetto pimp Skynyrd-loving redneck heavy metal burnout.” Wayne Isham is an American film and music video director who has worked with such celebrated artists as Bon Jovi Michael Jackson Janet Jackson Motley Crue Metallica Kelly Clarkson Britney Spears Shania Twain Pink Floyd Sheryl Crow Madonna and Adam Lambert.
