Unpaginated perhaps ninety pages b&w site photography throughout a much-thumbed copy with creasings to covers handling signs to free margins and a snag to plastic spine. Interior is cleanly and unmarked. A good copy; all photos without being masterpieces combine in sequence to compellingly record the site's transformation and the stages of shipbuilding in steel. Shipyard photos are credited to Jack Rusche and Don Followell and a group photograph of committee members 25 or so occupies the terminal page; other shots record their leisure activity in costume to music. Additional US Navy photos show the ships en route and at destinations such as Marianas Islands. We note that amongst the seven engineering firms engaged in this "joint venture" two are Bechtel-related with aforementioned Missouri Valley Bridge taking the lead.
