1915Best.-Nr. 14187Boston: W. A. Snow Iron Works Inc 1915. First Edition. Staplebound. Very good. Large square octavo 100pp. illustrated. Very good in the publisher's side-stapled binding with greenish printed wrappers. The covers are partly loosened from the page block but the stapled binding is sound. Light sunning and wear to yapped edges but still a nice example. Extensively illustrated catalogue for high-end wrought iron fencing. Both the text and the photographic illustrations are in a rich sepia tone and the presentation is stark and effective. The firm proudly presents examples of their work on the estates of such notables as Henry Clay Frick and Bayard Thayer as well as several notable churches cemeteries and factories mostly in New England. Rare; OCLC lists two separate holdings both at the Boston Athenaeum. W. A. Snow Iron Works, Inc unknown
