De liedbundels, bijbels en gebedenboeken uit de protestantse, katholieke en joodse traditie zijn afkomstig uit de particuliere collectie Van Noordwijk. Het prachtige zilverwerk op de boeken getuigt van een verbluffend vakmanschap. De zilveren sloten en beslag, het bewerkte leer en de subtiel aangebrachte versiering in het goud op snee zijn stuk voor stuk een streling voor het oog. De organische vormen zijn een samensmelting van invloeden uit zowel oude en/of vreemde culturen als nieuw gangbare lichaamsculturen. Accostando gli sforzi critici affini, favorendo i contatti tra esperienze metodiche diverse, questi quaderni di «Studi Vichiani» si propongono mente vichiana di essere un ideale luogo d'incontro tra filosofi, storici, filologi, eruditi, direttamente o indirettamente interessati alla comprensione del 'problema Vico', alla decifrazione, immediata o mediata, del suo significato nella storia del pensiero moderno: nei suoi punti centrali o periferici, nei suoi antecedenti, nei suoi influssi. Il saggio, nato dalle ricerche preliminari all'edizione della Principum Neapolitanorum Coniuratio, affronta i problemi di tradizione e di critica testuale di questa opera del Vico: opera minore, ma non priva di aspetti interessanti e, talora, affascinanti. Le due redazioni della Coniuratio, rappresentate l'una da nove manoscritti e l'altra da un unico manoscritto con interventi di mano del Vico, sono oggetto di una indagine filologica approfondita e accurata. Dopo una completa rassegna dei mss. della prima redazione, C. Pandolfi ne delinea i rapporti, giungendo per la prima volta a tracciarne uno stemma articolato e convincente. Circa la seconda redazione, la Pandolfi opera una completa revisione del ms. Napoli, Società di Storia Patria, XXVI d. 1, che, com'è noto, costituisce il fonda mento dell'edizione di F. Nicolini: i risultati sono vari e importanti, tali da giustificare pienamente l'opportunità di una nuova edizione, che sostituisca il pur apprezzabile lavoro del Nicolini stesso. Claudia Pandolfi è ricercatore di Lingua e letteratura latina nell'Università di Ferrara. I suoi studi si sono rivolti soprattutto alla latinitas vichiana e ai suoi modelli classici, con vari contributi apparsi nel «Bollettino del Centro di Studi Vichiani» e nel «Giornale Italiano di Filologia». Sta ultimando l'edizione critica della Principum Neapolitanorum Coniuratio, che apparirà nella collana «Opere di Giambattista Vico», promossa dal Centro di Studi Vichiani. Quaderni degli "Studi Vichiani", inaugurati nel 1969 ed editi presso la casa editrice Guida di Napoli, nascono sotto la direzione di Pietro Piovani, che ne segue i primi 13 volumi, e proseguono sotto quella di Fulvio Tessitore. Essi intendono costituire l'occasione di un ideale luogo d'incontro tra metodologie diverse - filosofica, filologica, storica, erudita - applicate a comprendere il 'problema Vico' all'interno della modernità. Ouvrage tiré à 200 exemplaires. Exemplaire avec envoi de l'auteur dans chacun des volumes à Mr. F. Daudet, avocat et bibliophile à Nîmes, et contenant deux lettres autographes de Claudin : - La première lettre est écrite de Grenoble en 1897, pendant la semaine où l'auteur assistait à la vente de la Bibliothèque Salvaing de Boissieu, il sollicite ''un petit renseignement confidentiel'' concernant une bibliothèque que désire vendre une dame de Nîmes. - La seconde est écrite de Charenton en 1900, l'auteur vient de terminer sa grande ''Histoire de l'Imprimerie en France'' et a enfin le temps de s'occuper de sa correspondance; Claudin évoque les déboires de madame Sury qui a quitté son mari, et demande quelques conseils, il se propose également, d'offrir un exemplaire de son ouvrage sur l'imprimerie à Poitiers, dont il offre les derniers exemplaires à ses amis.
