Each tale has its own Gill title page and each has a frontispiece illustration but the two stories are continuously paginated. Lot consists of 17 publisher's bound volumes and one hundred and sixty-six 166 separate issues plus thirty-three separate indexes. The bound volumes are octavo in publisher's red cloth stamped in gilt with Charles Dickens's facsimile signature in gilt on front covers as issued circa 325 pages each with original wrappers for each issue bound in.
