Il "culto delle capuzzelle" è un rituale che non smette ancora di stupire, conservando intatto il fascino della trascendenza e della sospensione fra realtà e alterità; un dialogo tra vivi e morti che accende da sempre la fantasia di scrittori e artisti, affascinati da queste soglie dell'ombra aperte a chi è capace di ascoltarne le voci. In Anime, le antiche e nuove mappe del culto diventano terreno di ricerca per un pensiero che vuole scoprire, attraverso la pietà per i morti, le dinamiche di proiezione e identificazione che investono gli individui della società contemporanea. Ciò nella convinzione che un patrimonio affidato alla tradizione orale vada sottratto all'oblio.
