Oscar WILDE 1854 1900
A Florentine Tragedy and La Sainte Courtisane MP3 CD Jan 01 2017 Oscar WILDE 1854 - 1900
IDB Productions 2017-01-01. MP3 CD. New. A Florentine Tragedy is a portion of an unfinished stage show produced by Oscar Wilde. The plot is about Simone a rich 16th century Florentine tradesperson who happens to see his wife Bianca together with a prince in their hometown Guido Bardi. After simulating generosity Simone contests the prowler to a duel wins over him and throttles him. This made Simone and Bianca reunite and love each other even more. </br></br>Oscar Fingal O'Flahertie Wills Wilde was an Irish poet and script writer. After drafting in many styles during the latter part of the 19th century he was among London's very famous script writers in the first years of 1890s. He is mostly recognized for his epigrams and stage plays his work of fiction The Picture of Dorian Gray also with the incidents of his captivity and early demise. </br></br>When he became a spokesman for aestheticism he was occupied with different literary goings-on: he wrote a collection of poems gave lectures in the United States and Canada on the new "English Renaissance in Art" and thereafter went back to London where he was hired creatively as a journalist. He was renowned for his intelligence humor outrageous robe and glistening dialogue talent Oscar was among the most famous figures of his time. He also advanced his thoughts of the rule of art in a sequence of conversations and essays and integrated topics of depravity deceit and attraction into what would be his only novella The Picture of Dorian Gray published in 1890. The chance to build aesthetic specifics concisely and unite them with bigger societal plots led Oscar to transcribe a dramatical skit. He produced Salome in French while in Paris even though it was declined a licence for England because of a definite restraint on the depiction of Biblical matters on the English play. OSCAR WILDE 1854 1900.
Bahtiyar prens ve baska masallar. = The happy prince and other tales. Translated by Nurettin Sevin 1900-1975.
Istanbul: Hilmi Kitabevi / Sirketi Mrettibiye Basimevi 1938. 1st Edition . Soft cover. Very Good. 8vo - over 7 - 9" tall. Paperback illustrated cover. Cr. 8vo. 19 x 13 cm. In Turkish modern with Latin script. xvi 75 5 p. Bahtiyar prens ve baska masallar. = The happy prince and other tales. Translated by Nurettin Sevin 1900-1975. It contains five stories as in original first: "The Happy Prince" "The Nightingale and the Rose" "The Selfish Giant" "The Devoted Friend" and "The Remarkable Rocket". Happy prince is allegorical to the social class system of Victorian England-the wealth of the upper classes versus the impoverishment of the poor. The statue of the prince has its jewels delivered to the poor via the swallow now on top of the hill the prince can see the poverty that had previously been shielded from him. Eventually the statue loses all its material wealth; he is richer inside for helping the needy but no longer outside and the swallow dies. The people remove the prince statue now that he is plain and discuss the next statue that will replace him because material wealth is most important to them. Nurettin Nureddin Sevin 1900-1975 was a Turkish writer and translator. After he graduated from Istanbul Robert College 1917 and the Teacher Training School for Men 1923 he studied at the West Theatre School in London. When he returned to Turkey 1923 he worked as a teacher in Istanbul at Kabatas High School for Boys and as a faculty member at the Faculty of Political Sciences and the State Conservatory. He is buried in Besiktas Yahya Efendi Graveyard. First Modern Turkish Edition. Nureddin Sevin who was also a poet is known for his plays and critiques together with his translations from classical and contemporary western writers. He won the second award of the Turkish Housewives Association in 1968 with his play Alexius'un Sancilari Alexius' Stomachache. First Modern Turkish Edition. This edition not in OCLC. Ossola Carlo
Ungaretti, poeta
br.
