A slightly larger format than many of the Murray editions demy octavo measuring approx 22.5x15cm. Volume i viii411132 pp ads dated April 1867. Volume ii viii4862 pp ads dated February 1868. Original smooth green cloth covers are fresh and bright some light bumping to the corners vol i has some minor indentations to the spine and the upper cover is very slightly bowed vol ii has a slight lean or spine slant. Both with bright gilt to the spines top edges a little dusty securely bound black endpapers with bookseller label first and last few pages with some spotting pages otherwise bright and mostly clean an occasional very minor mark volume i has a previous owners gift inscription in ink to the first blank page very good condition.
