In the dark lower left corner Mitchell signs boldly in his usual white ink making for superb contrast. And in the light area at lower right the unidentified subject signs boldly in black grease pencil: "To Eddie / Tamara" also with superb contrast. While we haven't been able to identify the subject she is most likely an actress or perhaps a ballet figure. "Tamara" suggests Russian and Mitchell did photograph a number of Les Ballets Russes ballerinas. A lovely vintage piece signed by a premiere photographer. unknown
