Note: this aristocratic bookplate in a break with tradition states "Drawn & Engraved by J. Thomson Belfast adding the first four words ". Discreetly signed on the title-page by William Legg likely the master of Malone House in Belfast and High Sheriff of County Antrim . <br/><br/>Blind Jack blind since the age of 6 was in the public notice as "a most EXTRAORDINARY CHARACTER."
