Betsy Ann Muir is surrounded by inbred men with lust in their souls. When an investigative reporter named David Graydon Oliver arrives from the North to document the sharecropper lifestyle the greedy slave-owning landlords become angry. An attempt is made to lynch Graydon but he is saved by Betsy Ann and the two engage in romantic affairs. Jason and the Argonauts Post-production screenplay for the 1963 film
London: Morningside Worldwide Pictures 1975. Early Revised Draft script for the 1963 British-American film dated two years prior to its release. First generation reproduction likely made for educational purposes circa early-mid 1970s evidenced by the use of a photocopy process not employed in the UK until the early 1970s. The script's vintage is also evidenced by the postal code on the front wrapper which includes an "outward code" a system not introduced in the UK until 1967 and not put into widespread use until the 1970s. Not being offered as a vintage item but strictly as the content of the complete script. <br/><br/>Jason Armstrong rightful heir to the throne of Thessaly is spared from death through the intervention of the goddess Hera Honor Blackman who then helps Jason in his search for the Golden Fleece. Obstacles along his path include a giant statue screeching harpies huge rocks the seven-headed hydra and an army of skeletons with a nod from Sam Raimi in his 1992 cult classic "Army of Darkness". <br/><br/>Associate producer and special effect legend Ray Harryhausen provided all the great effects here generally considered even by Harryhausen himself to be his greatest effort. <br/><br/>Shot on location in Italy. <br/><br/>Cream wrappers with paper title label. France: N.p. 1967. Two vintage borderless black-and-white reference still photographs from the 1967 Italian-French-German film. From the archives of Maurice Bessy 1910-1993 a French film historian novelist and screenwriter "Deadlier Than the Male" 1956 and a handful of films 1939-1950. Bessy's rubber stamp and name label on the verso of one still with brief annotations in holograph ink on the versos of both stills. <br/><br/>Featured in one still is director Duvivier and actor Sergio Fantoni both engaging in what appears to be a spirited conversation. In the next still Duvivier shoots a bandaged Delon in his hospital bed surrounded by members of the crew. <br/><br/>Based on the 1962 book "Manie de la persecution" by Louis C. Thomas. After a near fatal car crash resulting in a coma Pierre Delon awakens to a new life. Attempting to search for his true identity after suffering amnesia coming ever closer to finding the truth and ever closer to unspeakable danger. <br/><br/>Director Duvivier's final film. <br/><br/>One still 7 x 9.5 inches one 8 x 11.75 inches. Included are several unbound revision sheets dated 10/11/75 on pink stock. Based on the 1972 crime novel "The Procane Chronicle" by Ross Thomas writing as Oliver Bleeck. <br/><br/>The first of no fewer than ten films director J. Lee Thompson would make with badass Charles Bronson and ironically one of the last with a major studio behind it. The pair would go on to make taut violent potboilers such as "10 to Midnight" 1983 "The Evil That Men Do" 1984 and "Murphy's Law" 1986. <br/><br/>Raymond St. Ives Bronson is a novelist drawn back into the world of his former profession of crime reporting by wealthy Abner Procane Houseman. St. Ives is hired to locate stolen documents with ties to the local mob. Janet Whistler Bisset is an associate of Procane's accompanying St. Ives but her motives are vague. <br/><br/>Features early supporting roles by Jeff Goldblum and Robert "Freddy" Krueger Englund. <br/><br/>Set in Los Angeles shot on location in Los Angeles and Pasadena California. <br/><br/>Blue titled wrappers with gilt titles. This episode is based on an original story by Harlan Ellison. Copy belonging to an uncredited crew member named Chuck Sereci with his name in holograph pencil on the front wrapper. <br/><br/>Logan Harrison and his partner Jessica Menzies-Urich discover an underground room a crypt with six cryogenically frozen survivors of the nuclear holocaust. Logan and Jessican attempt to rescue them in the midst of a series of earthquakes. <br/><br/>"Logan's Run" 1977-1978 was a short-lived but notable sci-fi television series based on the 1967 novel by William F. Nolan and George Clayton Johnson. Logan a rebellious law enforcement agent and his partner Jessica the series main characters are nearing the age of 30. In their futuristic society the age of 30 is considered one's deathbed so the two go on the run to find sanctuary and freedom from the dystopian society. <br/> <br/>Harlan Ellison had been writing for television since 1963 "Ripcord" and wrote for several notable series including "The Outer Limits" "The Alfred Hitchcock Hour" "The Man from U.N.C.L.E." "Star Trek" "The Twilight Zone" and "Babylon 5" and its many spin-offs. Alda Cardinale is a discarded girlfriend who takes to the road with her suitcase. A slick hunk picks her up and take her to his home where she meets his younger brother Lorenzo Perrin. The two share an unspoken but clearly evident mutual appreciation of one another Lorenzo's esteem perhaps more romantic than Alda's flighty acknowledgment of his emotional maturity. <br/><br/>Set in Parma Italy shot on location there and in Riccioni and Rome Italy. <br/><br/>7 x 9.5 inches.
