Kelantan became a protectorate of Great Britain in 1909. Terengganu or Trengganu is also situated in Malaysia, central Malay Peninsula, on the South China Sea. The capital is Kuala Terengganu. he population is mainly Malay. According to the terms of the Anglo-Siamese treaty of 1909, Terengganu became a British protectorate.
