1937réf. 2758A very nice copy of the twelfth edition 1937. Moses was an English spiritualist and clergyman who claimed a number of clairvoyant and psychical experiences. He was best known for his 'automatic scripts' supposedly received via direct communication from a band of spirits. In very nice condition. Pages are bright and clean no inscriptions or notes. Very slight superficial relaxing of connection to spine around p 145 but this has no bearing on actual bond of pages and is superficial only see photo. See photos all of which are of the copy for sale we don't use stock photos. More photos on request thanks! London Spiritualist Alliance hardcover

It can be found in the parables and tales of the Bible like that of Jotham Judg 9.7 ff. who told the story of the trees choosing a king; or the parables of the prophet Nathan II Sam. 12.1 ff who in rebuking King David told the story of the poor man's lamb; or that of Jehoash the king of Israel who refused to meet Amaziah the King of Judah II Kings 14.9 ff.; and many more examples can be adduced to show the love of the people in ancient times for the poetical tale.
