The material was derived from personal interviews with nearly 6000 women; from studies in sexual anatomy physiology psychology and endocrinology. The book presents data on the incidence and frequency with which women participate in various types of sexual activity. Black and white chart and graph illustrations throughout. Bibliography index. 8vo. 842 pp. Original yellow dust jacket printed in black with a few small chips. Kinsey was considered the first major figure in American Sexology. First are now uncommon. The first printing was priced at $8 on the bottom of the rear dust jacket flap; 250000 copies were issued.
