Au moment de quitter la Gaule, il change du sable en pyramide, et la pyramide le suit en Irlande. Patrice arrive en Irlande et y est reçu par un géant. Patrice veut commencer sa mission par la conversion de Milhu il trouve incendiée la maison de son ancien maître. II convertit un vieillard en lui promettant une éternelle jeunesse. II ressuscite un géant pour le baptiser. Il parcourt l'Irlande sur le char de Dihu. Son désintéressement. Son amour pour les enfants. Fondation du premier siège épiscopal d'Érin, le siège d'Ardmagh. Makfil, célèbre brigand, veut éprouver Patrice. Il est converti par le saint, se jette dans une barque sans gouvernail, va aborder à l'île de Mona, devient prêtre, évêque et Saint. Patrice triomphe des enchantements des druides, et convertit les deux filles du roi au bord de la fontaine de Klébah. Le roi Laégaïr persécute les nouveaux chrétiens. Fête du Feu nouveau à Tara. Patrice est fait prisonnier. Lutte de prodiges entre les druides et le saint. Victoire de Patrice. Conversion du peuple et du roi. Baptême de six rois et de douze mille de leurs sujets. Patrice met la croix sur tes monuments druidiques, purifie l'eau et le feu, élève d'innombrables chapelles, entre dans la corporation des bardes. Dialogue de Patrice et d'Ossian. Leur discussion. Charité de Kadok. Kadok est rasé par l'évêque Dubrik. Sa retraite dans une vallée sauvage. Sa vision. Un ange lui ordonne de bâtir une maison en l'honneur de la Trinité et un monastère en bois, de forme triangulaire. Ses disciples augmentent. Arrivée de saint Gildas. Sa cloche merveilleuse, destinée au pape, donnée par le pape à Kadok. Voyage de Kodak à Rome...
