The ingredients are given in Imperial measure with US equivalents in the recipe. Page one features Lobster pernod; Ham en Croute with pecot potatoes and fonds artichauts; Grand Marnier pudding. The recipes are predominantly French and European. This concept was first done by Arabella Boxer whose FIRST SLICE YOUR COOKBOOK appeared in the UK in 1964 apparently preceding this work though I am not entirely sure. CAD Edition Not Stated 10" x 7 1/2" clear plastic lined white three-ring binder with colour illus of foodstuffs to front cover with tile to front cover and to spine. The second binder is black with a colour photo of 3 people preparing a meal The interior pages consist of recipes and nutrition sheets prepared by the Consumer Service Department of Woodward's Stores with the recipes tested by Mona Brun. The recipe sheets are one leaf 2 pages and typically have 8 to 10 recipes. The nutrition sheets are 4 pages long. The "Creative Home Cooking" sheets start at Number 170 to number 453. The "It's Fun to Eat Out at Home" has 3 to 4 recipes per sheet but comes with colour photos and is printed on coated paper each featuring a brand name product to which recipes are attached. There are 26 of these sheets in this collection no a full set: Numbers 4 to 6 9 to 14 20 to 24 26 to 30 33 39 43 to 47. The nutrition sheets deal with breakfast idea carving meats cooking with metric menu suggestions. No dates given perhaps mid 1980s; date uncertain. Two volumes Very Good. 4.6 FO 38/2.
