Ahvâl-i gazavât der diyâr-i Bosna: The Bosnian frontier at wars of 1736-1739 Ottoman-Russo-Austro: A case study on Ömer Bosnavi's work. The book was accepted by YÖK as Master thesis in 2014 and published as book firstly by Lambert Press in January, 2016. After acceptance of thesis in 2014, a few studies published but Ömer Bosnavi's work was firstly published by me. Therefore first original transcription involve in that book. That study aims to offer an outline of the Ottoman-Russo-Austro War in 1736-1739 and also attempts to portray the Bosnia Frontier, an important subregion the Austro-Ottoman war. To provide a more detailed understanding of the Bosnian frontier, the first transcription of Ömer of Novi's "Ahval-i Gazavat Der Diyar-i Bosna" was included as a primary source in the study. While the Ottoman Empire was engaged in the Persian Wars in the 1730s, both Austrian and Russian Empires pursued a hostile policy the Ottoman Empire in accordance with the terms of a treaty of alliance in 1726. Upon the invasion of Crimea by Russians, the Ottomans declared a war against Russia in 1736. After Austria completed the preparations of the war, and joined in the battle on the side of Russia in 1737. In the beginning of the war, Austrians occupied the fortress of Nish and organized campaigns in such regions as Wallachia, Vidin, and Bosnia. But the fortress of Nish was successfully taken back by the Ottomans, yet unsuccessful campaigns in the Vidin and Wallachia, and especially in Bosnia after the defeat of Hildburghasuen by the Governor of Bosnia Hekimoglu Ali Pasha in the Battle of Banja Luka changed the course of the war. Following the siege of Belgrade by Ivaz Pasha, the grand vizier, and a positive consequence of joining of Hekimoglu in the siecle, Austria was ultimately forced to make peace in 1739.

Very Good Turkish Original autograph letter signed (ALS) 'Y. Küm?' sent to his mother from S.S. Tarsus. 21,5x28 cm. In Turkish. Written by a pencil. 1 p. Full. Dated 8-12-1957. He describes his travel route to his mother in Marseilles, to Spain by train, etc. [TRAVEL TO MARSEILLES BY SS TARSUS -EXOCHORDA-] Autograph letter signed 'Y. Küm?'. S / S Tarsus was launched in 1931 by "New York Shipbuilding Co.1" for "American Export linen New York" and was launched under the name SS Exochorda. The ship, which has a capacity of 879 passengers, is 140 meters long and 19 meters wide. Its water section was 8.3 meters. It had 7200 HP steam turbine machine weighing 9298 Groston. Exochorda, previously carrying passengers and cargo, was placed under the order of the United States Land Forces as "Harry E. Lee-AP17" as of 27 December 1940. After being used in logistics services during the Second World War, it was connected to the Toothshipyard in Baltimore on May 9, 1946 and taken out of service. In April 16, 1948, after it's purchased by Turkey, it was named Tarsus by Turkish politician Kasim Gürlek.

Located in the city center of Ephesos and spanning 4,000 m of prime real estate, Terrace House 2 was a luxurious apartment complex built in the Roman imperial period. Seven exquisitely furnished apartments stretch across three terraces, their excellent state of preservation making it possible to admire columned courtyards, dining halls, and reception rooms with impressive marble revetments, mosaics, and wall paintings. The owners of these apartments belonged to the social elite, such as Caius Flavius Furius Aptus, who constructed a magnificent city palace. Built during the reign of the emperor Tiberius in the early first century A.D., Terrace House 2 was inhabited until the late third century, when it was completely destroyed by a severe earthquake. Today the unique monument is protected by a modern roof construction. An elevated walkway over the site makes it possible for visitors to gain insight into the daily life of the urban elite, while finds are exhibited in the Efes Muzesi in Selcuk. This short guide leads the visitors through Terrace House 2, decribes the monument and points out many interesting but hidden details. The rich illustrations make it possible for the viewer to relive his or her visit of this extraordinary example of Roman domestic architecture long after returning home.

The long period of Turkish war, (1911-1922), the efforts to establish the foundations of the new state and introducing new principles to the public, and making them adopt these principles naturally reflected on literature. By the 1930s, however, new republican literature had emerged and was developing in many directions. Nazim Hikmet Ran, a socialist poet who later moved further 'Left' and in 1951 immigrated to the SovietUnion, was already looking beyond the Kemalist Revolution and was anticipating class struggle of the industrialist period. Ironically, this communist poet, who brought so-called classical Marxist humanism into Turkish literature in free verse, wrote the most moving saga of the Turkish War of Independence. Within a few years of his death in the Soviet Union in 1963, his works had been translated into virtually all languages. In contrast o this romantic revolutionary, Yahya Kemal Beyatli constituted a one-man neoclassical school, and Ahmet Hasim wrote a highly colorful symbolist verse under the influence of the French Parnassians. Both poets used the classical quantitative meter and Ottoman vocabulary yet became very popular by appealing to the nostalgia of people who had grown tired of didactic concerns. In reaction to the stereotype, didactic currents in poetry emerged in Seven Torchbearers (Yedi Mes'aleciler), a group that called for experimentation and new departures in the stanzaic and syllabic poetic medium. The group succeeded in bringing about a revolution in poetry; they gave particular encouragement to young poets, whose works they published in their literary reviews. Yedi Mesale movement, after the literary community of Fajr-i Âti, in 1928, seven young people such as Yasar Nabi Nayir, Sabri Esat Siyavusgil, Muammer Lütfi Bahsi, Kenan Hulusi Koray, Ziya Osman Saba, Vasfi Mahir Kocatürk, Cevdet Kudret Solok wanted to start a movement by publishing this book. In the issue of Servet-i Fünun Magazine dated March 22, 1928, they declared that they will publish a book named "Seven Torches". The book is published in April and attracted great attention. The foreword written in the book tells what they will do in the literary field. Contents of this book: Sabri Esat Siyavusgil: Kukla Oyunu [i.e. Puppet game], Yasar Nabi Nayir: Sairin Bahçesi [i.e. The garden of the poet], Vasfi Mahir Kocatürk: Daglarin Derdi [i.e. The suffering of mountians], Ziya Osman Saba: Sebil ve Güvercinler [i.e. The fountain and the doves], Cevdet Kudret Solok: Cenaze ilahisi [i.e. Hymn for funeral, Kenan Hulusi Koray: Denizin Zaferi [i.e. Victory of the sea] (only writer of the story of the group), Muammer Lütfü Bahsi: Dante'nin Ruhuna [i.e. For the soul of Dante]. Ahmet Hasim supported them in the Mesale Dergisi [i.e. Torch Magazine] which was published two months later. The Seven Torchbearers, who continued almost the same thoughts until the 1935s, then proceeded in line with their artistic identity. They wanted to overturn the old generation to underestimate them. They argued that Turkish Literature had been imitating eastern literature for centuries and Western literature after Tanzimat and that it is time to return to itself. First and only edition of this exceedingly rare book of Sahara and other territories of North Africa, written by Sadik El-Müeyyed, including his surviving report and travel account written to be presented to the Ottoman Sultan Abdulhamid II. It's a reference text that specifies the military and the political measures of the Sahara exploration, gives extensive information about the Benghazi region of Tripoli and about Muhammad al-Senusi, the leader of the Senûsî (Senussi) movement there, and his followers. With the impressive and enthusiastic expression of Sadik el-Müeyyed's descriptions, this work reveals not only the affairs of the Ottoman government but also the mysteries of the journeys that have taken months in the Sahara desert, uncovers the living standards of the desert peoples, and sheds light on an unknown aspect of the North African history.
