Wallace was FDR's Vice-President at the time of this publication allegedly written by him. The Institute of Pacific Relations was an organization that had been infiltrated by Communists and Communist sympathizers and it ran a disinformation campaign in 1943-44 for the Chinese Communist forces who in the midst of the war joined with the Japanese armies to inflict a serious defeat on the Kuomintang troops allied with the United States. Wallace himself would spend July 4 1944 in Chita Soviet Siberia accompanied by I.P.R. members. His connections with Communism would later cost his only Presidential campaign dearly. . First Edition.
