‎Roma - Album souvenir de vues photographiques Rome, 1880/ 1900.‎

‎Format paysage (165 × 253 × 30 mm), tissu décoratif rouge de l’éditeur, état d'usure, photos gondolées, quelques traces anciennes, 3 photos détachées du bloc, mérite une petite restauration. Contient 21 photographies en argent de gélatine montées, chacune d'environ 100 × 149 mm, montrant les principaux monuments, églises, ruines, vues de la ville de Rome et œuvres d'art importantes. Chaque photographie avec une bande de légende imprimée: «Edizione inaltérabile» en bas à gauche, titre du sujet au centre et numéro de catalogue en bas à droite. Les vues incluent le Colisée (intérieur et extérieur), St. Basilique et Piazza de Pierre, le Forum Romanum, le Capitolin, Piazza Colonna, Santa Maria Maggiore, la Pyramide de Cestius, les aqueducs et de nombreux autres sites majeurs. Les photographies sont relativement bien conservées, typiques des premières impressions d'argent de gélatine (mise en miroir d'argent). L'album est une production touristique spécialement conçue, destinée au marché européen du voyage au tournant du siècle. Toutes les photos de l'album sont dans l'annonce. ref/13bis‎

‎Bien que l'album ne porte aucune empreinte explicite, le style de légende et le système de numérotation sont étroitement liés aux productions d'éditeurs photographiques italiens de premier plan tels que Fratelli Alinari (Florence, actif également à Rome) et Carlo Brogi (Florence/Rome), qui ont tous deux commercialisé de nombreux catalogues de vues romaines à cette période. D’autres entreprises romaines, dont Giacomo Brogi, Anderson et Danesi, ont également publié des albums sous le label «Edizione inalterabile». La typographie et la numérotation constantes suggèrent ici la fabrication par l'un de ces grands studios fournissant le marché du Grand Tour vers 1895-1910.‎

Contains amusing descriptions of restaurants cafes and theaters; parks monuments cemeteries and catacombs; cultural and educational institutions; horse races and festivals; and street life with the types of people to be seen: students artists' models vendors socialists anarchists gamblers and criminals. In general the section on Paris presents the fascinating and slightly scandalous world first dramatised for the world in Puccini's La Bohème. The section on London emphasizes the city's history and architecture. A heavy book; for international shipping it will have to be sent by priority international. ‎Bourg, 25 floréal an VIII (15 mai 1800) in-4 oblong (24 x 38 cm),‎

‎Brevet pré-imprimé portant confirmation des titres d'André Laugier, natif de Toulon, et capitaine quartier-maître trésorier d'infanterie depuis le 25 nivôse an VII [14 janvier 1799]. Une commission d'examen avait en effet été instituée par le général Giuseppe Lechi (1767-1836), commandant la Légion italique, et le commissaire des guerres Alexis Bondurand (1772-1835). La signature qui figure en bas, en sus de celles de tous les membres de la commission, est celle du général Pietro Teulié (1763-1807), supérieur de Lechi.La Légion italique était une unité de l'armée française constituée de volontaires italiens placés au service de la France ; elle fut créée par la loi du 22 fructidor an VII [8 septembre 1799], et se composait de quatre bataillons d'infanterie, de quatre escadrons de chasseurs à cheval et d'une compagnie d'artillerie légère. Constituée d'abord à Nice, puis à Lyon, elle fut transférée le 20 juin 1800 au service de la République cisalpine.ON JOINT : un beau diplôme in-folio oblong (33 x 44 cm), de la République romaine, en italien, attestant des services du même André Laugier au sein de la quatrième légion des troupes romaines. Il est daté de Pavie, "13 del mese di Glacciale dell'anno 8 dell'Era Républicana", ce qui pourrait correspondre au 3 janvier 1800, si toutefois Glacciale correspond à Nivôse, ce qui n'est pas sûr. - - VENTE PAR CORRESPONDANCE UNIQUEMENT - LIEN DE PAIEMENT, NOUS CONSULTER.‎
