Original owner's inscription to the title page: "Joseph A. Daniel/Christ's College/Cambridge". Minor amount of wear to the edges of the boards. Ex-libris of Richard Freeman bibliographer of Charles Darwin initialed by him with notes of cost on ffep. An exceptionally rare item with fantastic provenance.
