Hardcover rebound in 20th century full brown cloth with the title on the front cover and spine in gilt. The binding shows light to moderate wear and is quite sturdy. The text shows heavy and obvious damping especially at the front. The endpapers are also damped. Damping is heaviest for the first 35 pages although some other pages also show some lesser browning and rear of the book also shows some damping. There is a pin hole on the leaf for pages 97-98. Several acts pertain to Slaves and some pertain to Indians. Some of the acts are about Tobacco and some are related to specific towns. Some are about establishing banks at Richmond and Alexandria or Tobacco inspections in Petersburg or other places. Some mention specific people such as a 1792 act on establishing a Toll-Bridge for John Sinclair in Isle of Wight County. One act establishes the Inspection of Tobacco on the Lands of William Cabell in the county of Amherst. There is an act concerning the Nottoway Indian tribe and a brief act "Empowering the County Court of Northampton to appoint Trustees for the purpose of protecting the rights of the Gingaskin Tribe of Indians.
