Most of the content is drawn from Crockett's autobiography with material on the last four months of his life taken from the 1836 book Randolph refers to as "Colonel Crockett's Texas Adventures" actually called "Col. Accredited to Mrs. Rundell of New Systems of Domestic Cookery fame but there are many who think this is a false theory due to her well published falling out with the John Murray. All edges gilt dentelle edging and blindstamped Missing 1 cm. of leather at the head of spine. Interior crisp and clean.
