‎Luchon, Lafont, sans date, (vers 1840). 2 parties en un volume in-4 oblong (305 x 420 mm) de (2)-8 pp., carte et plan repliés, 27 planches lithographiées dont le titre, [Partie II :] (2)-12 pp., 32 planches lithographiées, demi-chagrin rouge à petits coins, dos à nerfs, plats décorés, tranches dorées (reliure de l'éditeur).‎

‎Beau recueil de planches lithographiées dû à Eugène Cicéri, dessinateur lithographe qui se spécialisa dans la représentation des paysages. Il participa aussi beaucoup aux Voyages pittoresques et romantiques dans l'ancienne France du baron Taylor. Les recueils de planches lithographiées de Cicéri sont nombreux et variables dans leurs compositions. Ils étaient vendus par divers libraires-éditeurs des stations thermales. Les planches sont simples, doubles et parfois sur quatre volets pour les panoramas. Cet exemplaire contient un titre général lithographié suivi de deux parties Luchon et ses environs et les Hautes et Basses-Pyrénées avec au total 59 vues lithographiées. La première partie se compose d'un feuillet de titre, 8 pages de texte, 2 cartes dépliantes pour Luchon et ses environs et le Plan de Bagnères de Luchon, et 26 planches dont 20 simples, 4 doubles et 2 panoramiques à 4 volets ; la seconde partie est composée d'un feuillet de titre, 8 pages de texte et 32 planches dont 24 simples et 8 doubles - cette partie contient une table au verso du titre dont la planche «Église de Saint-Savin» manque à notre exemplaire qui contient en revanche 3 vues supplémentaires non inscrites.
