Il mare tra Giappone e Corea è denominato come Mare Orientale Minus.E' presente un cartiglio con titolo in olandese in basso a sinistra (Kaert van Het geheele Russische Keizerryk...). All'interno dello stesso la carta è accreditata a Johan Matthias Hasius e al Capitano Martin Petrovich Shpanberg.Shpanberg (morto nel 1761) era un luogotenente navale di origini danesi che partecipò a Berings due spedizioni in Kamchatka come secondo al comando. È noto soprattutto per aver esplorato le Isole Curili e aver trovato la rotta marittima per il Giappone.Incisione al rama, coloritura coeva, in ottime condizioni. Decorative and rare map covering Russia, Tibet, China, Tartary, Korea, Taiwan and Japan prepared by J. M. Hasius.
