The recipes are nicely laid out with the ingredients listed before the main body of the recipe text. C.I. Hood & Co was an apothecary whose main product was Hood's Sarsaparilla "its positive medicinal merit is certified by thousands of voluntary witnesses". There is no date to this little booklet but Hood's Cook Book Number 1 Number 2 and Number 3 are mentioned as well as Hood's High Street Cook book are mentioned so it probably dates from after 1895.
